Job Responsibility

  • Respond to hyper-acute strokes and inpatient consults
  • Perform daily rounds, progress notes, and patient assessments
  • Prepare patients for neurointerventional procedures (pre- and post-op)
  • Manage ER and hospital consults
  • one clinic day per week
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary neuroendovascular team
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute, critical, and chronic neurological conditions in an inpatient setting
  • Obtain histories, perform physical exams, and develop differential diagnoses
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments as appropriate
  • Interpret diagnostic studies and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on disease management, preventive health, and recovery
  • Coordinate care across multiple services, including pre-op planning and discharge
  • Document care plans and maintain records per established standards
  • Offer clinical guidance to nursing staff and ensure continuity of care
