Job Responsibility

  • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients requiring Interventional Radiology interventions in consultation with the Interventional Radiologists
  • Ordering and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Post-procedural recovery care
  • Inpatient rounds
  • Consultation with other health care providers
  • Coordination of care
  • Referrals
  • Prescription of medications
  • Follow up care including telephone updates
  • Triage of complications and clinic visits
  • Working 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday including the ability to work a range of 8-to-12-hour shifts

Requirements

  • MSN/NP or DNP Program
  • 2 years of PNP/FNP experience
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Be self-directed
  • A current license in the state of Massachusetts to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP (primary or acute care) or FNP)
  • MCSR and DEA upon hire
