Job Description

As a Post Procedure Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center, you will assess patient/family health problems and resources, take a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcome evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

  • Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient
  • Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior, and support ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues
  • Serve as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing upon hire
  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State upon hire
  • American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification upon hire

  • One year recent acute care experience
  • One year PICC placement experience
