Join a vibrant team as a Nurse Navigator in Radiation Medicine, where your expertise will shine in supporting cancer patients through their treatment journey. As part of this unique opportunity, you’ll be managing care for individuals receiving radiation therapy, providing essential education, skillful assessment of radiation toxicity, and advising on social needs. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions as you ensure patients understand their care protocols, assisting with skincare, wound care, and triaging any concerns. You’ll alternate between two shifts, working 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, primarily from Monday to Friday. This role allows you to blend your technical nursing skills with compassionate patient engagement. With a focus exclusively on the oncology field, your knowledge in care management, particularly with IV starts and central line care, will be invaluable. Your efforts will directly contribute to a smooth and supportive patient experience in a specialized setting dedicated to healing through innovative medical practices.
