Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Observes, collects, and records patient biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care data
  • Analyzes assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses and implement age-appropriate care plans
  • Documents patient data to measure progress, identifying and meeting learning needs for patients and/or significant others
  • Administers medication and follows precautions to ensure patient safety, including fall prevention
  • Coordinates care with other disciplines, shares knowledge, floats as needed, and attends required educational programs

Requirements

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 30 days
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • One (1) year of RN experience or Current RN with CHI Mercy Health
