Job Description:

As our Nurse Manager Surgical Services at St. Mary Medical Center, you will oversee our GI and Same Day Surgery departments. You will lead a team of frontline nurses and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the nursing staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experiences, reach out to our community, and deliver quality care. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required
  • One (1) year of leadership experience required
  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
