Job Description

We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager in our NICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full time day shift position. Our Level IV NICU is staffed with an unparalleled team of neonatal nurses, neonatologist and maternal-fetal specialists, 24 hours a day, providing the highest level of intensive care designated in Florida.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit and supervising the nursing personnel in a particular unit or department
  • Delegates tasks to a nursing staff, manages and checks the nursing schedule, ensures that all shifts are covered
  • Oversees patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, coordinate meetings, and make personnel decisions
  • Responsible for recruiting new team members and conducting performance reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
  • 3-5 Years Nursing Experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
  • NRP is required

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
