Job Description

As our Manager, Hospital, you will provide crucial leadership and operational oversight for a key department or functional area within our hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, efficient operations, and a positive environment for both patients and staff. You will be instrumental in achieving departmental goals and contributing to the hospital's overall success.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinates work of licensed and unlicensed personnel in unit(s)
  • Develops a cost-effective, 24-hour staffing pattern within the unit(s) to meet needs of patients and labor budget
  • Participates within the Department of Nursing Services in establishing the standards of patient care, policies, and objectives of unit(s)
  • communicates such standards, policies, and objectives to unit(s) staff, patients, family, and community
  • Hires, trains, develops, evaluates, and disciplines staff members
  • Ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies such as TJC, Health Departments and OSHA
  • Creates a work environment that fosters safety, communication, and positive work environment. Complaint Management

Requirements

  • Bachelors Of Nursing and Minimum of 3 years experience in related field, upon hire
  • 1-3 years 2 years supervisory experience, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice to have

  • Masters Other and Three (3) years experience as a clinical supervisor or manager in which administrative, supervisory, and teaching abilities have been demonstrated, upon hire
  • Budgetary and productivity experience, upon hire
