Job Responsibility

Responsible for the 24/7 leadership and operational management of a fast paced, high acuity 40 bed inpatient unit
Ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and fiscal responsibility
Leads clinical and support staff and collaborates with the interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals
Recruits, hires, trains and evaluates nursing staff, conducts performance appraisals and coaching, promotes professional development and continuing education while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Addresses patient and family concerns promptly and effectively while supporting initiatives that improve patient satisfaction scores
Ensures compliance with hospital policies and standards set by accrediting bodies such as Joint Commission and CMS
Exhibits strong leadership and decision-making skills, effective communication and conflict resolution, data-driven quality improvement and financial acumen
