Job Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care tailored to the unique physiological and psychological needs of laboring, delivering, and postpartum mothers, as well as their newborns
  • Skillfully manage and prioritize patient care activities, balancing the dynamic and often rapid changes in labor with the comfort and emotional support of the patient and her family
  • Serve as a dedicated advocate for patients' needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care that encompasses physical, emotional, and cultural aspects of birth
  • Exhibit exceptional ability to recognize and adapt swiftly to changes in patients' condition in a timely and clinically appropriate manner during critical moments

Requirements

  • Associate Of Nursing Diploma or Foreign Equivalent, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 - months

Nice to have

  • Bachelors Of Nursing and One (1) year labor and delivery experience, upon hire
  • Other NCC certification in inpatient OB, upon hire
