Nurse Interventional Radiology

• Management of blood samples and calculations
• Sterile technique, scrub and assist physician during cases
• Administration and knowledge of medications given to the patient under the supervision of the physician
• Operate physiologic monitoring equipment
• Operate all equipment related to IR procedures (IABP, Penumbra, IVUS, ISTAT, MedRad injector, manual thrombectomy, EKOS, McKesson pressure monitoring, venous Doppler, etc.)
• Must be able to respond onsite within 30 minutes of the call
• Must live within 30 minutes of SJHMC

• Two (2) years of recent Critical Care experience
• AZ RN license upon hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within 60 days of hire
