Job Responsibility

  • Applies nursing process to direct patient care through assessment, analysis of collected data, development of a plan of care, and implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relation to intended goal
  • Provides adequate information and instruction to the patient, family and significant other
  • Observes, collects, and records patient biophysical, psychosocial, and self-care data, identifying educational needs
  • Analyzes assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses and implement age-appropriate care plans with the team
  • Administers medication
  • Ensures patient and staff safety

Requirements

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 30 days
  • NRP within 6 months
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
