Job Description:

Provide invaluable support to our nursing staff, directly contributing to efficient patient care delivery and ensuring a comfortable and well-maintained environment for our patients. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the unit.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist nurses with direct patient care activities, including vital sign measurements, personal care, ambulation, and documentation of basic observations
  • Performs direct patient care activities for specific patient population according to established policies and procedures
  • adapts techniques to unique needs of each patient
  • Promptly and courteously responds to patient requests for assistance whether that of assigned patient or not, assesses patient needs, and checks with patient regularly
  • Follows up on patient care responsibilities and assignments left from previous shift and reports to Team Leader any incomplete assignments to ensure continuity of care
  • Consistently demonstrates an ability to set appropriate priorities in providing safe patient care
  • functions in an organized and time-conscious manner
  • Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned
  • regularly helps others
  • Consistently records and/or reports to the Team Leader or Charge Nurse any treatment results, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the condition of patients

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate
  • Enrollment in an accredited board certified registered nursing program working towards obtaining direct patient clinical experience
  • Basic Life Support
