Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to referred NHS and private patients
  • Providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care
  • Ensuring patients receive high-quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings

Requirements:

  • NMC registration
  • Evidence of specialty training
  • Prior experience as a Nurse Endoscopist

  • Undertake elective endoscopy procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
  • Participate in the management of general gastroenterology inpatients when required

  • JAG-accredited for independent practice in upper and/or lower GI endoscopy
  • Demonstrable competence aligned to GRS and JAG KPIs (e.g., colonoscopy completion rate >90%)
