Our fast-paced 31-bed Emergency Department has skilled physicians who work closely with specially trained nurses and other healthcare professionals to see the approximate 80,000 patients each year. As a full time PM (1500-0330) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Job Responsibility:
Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards
Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating
Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to the assigned unit
Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures
Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system
Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership
Requirements:
2 years recent experience in an Emergency department as a RN within the last 5 years
Current CA RN licensure
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
TNCC required within 6 months of hire
ASLS (Advanced Stroke Life Support) within 6 months of hire
MICN required within 24 months of hire
Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing
