The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute medical conditions or trauma. This role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering high-quality care. As an RN at Arizona General Hospital you will assess patient/family health problems and resources implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute medical conditions or trauma
Triage patients and assess their condition
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Ensure timely interventions in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Monitor patient progress
Educate patients and families on health management
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and regulations
Assess patient/family health problems and resources
Implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care
Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations
Provide service to young adults through geriatric patients
Support the organization's strategic plan and performance improvement goals
Requirements:
ADN, Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
American Heart Association-issued BLS Certification
American Heart Association-issued ACLS certification
American Heart Association-issued PALS certification
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Nice to have:

Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
(2) years of Emergency room RN experience
