Nurse division float pool

• Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards
• Be available and flexible to float to various departments, and sites throughout the Texas Market to provide patient care
• Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a Clinical Leader
• Clinical needs include ICU, Med Surg/Telemetry, Emergency, OR/PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab and Women’s’ Services
• Must be available to be scheduled for a minimum of 2 or 3 shifts every week
• Must be available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other weekend
• Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per policy

• Associates Degree in Nursing, ADN
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• BLS with skills demonstration
• Additional certifications may be required depending on specialty and/or location
• Two (2) year of RN experience working in an acute care facility
• Effective Communication
• Knowledge of the principles and skills of the nursing process to provide patient care and treatment.
• Critical thinking skills
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Basic Computer skills

Bachelors in Nursing Preferred, BSN
