Job Description:

The Director of Nursing, Inpatient Hospital is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and coordination of nursing services within the Institute’s oncology inpatient hospital. The Nursing Director (ND) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the Senior Nurse Director. This position carries 24-hour accountability operational leadership of inpatient nursing services, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, compassionate, and patient- and family-centered care. The Nursing Director fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, equity, and continuous improvement while aligning nursing practice with DFCI’s mission, values, and Professional Practice Model.

Job Responsibility:
