The Nurse Director is responsible for providing strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across multiple hospital units within a 24/7 care environment. This role oversees patient care delivery, staffing, quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and financial performance while partnering with physicians and cross-functional leaders to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care. The Nurse Director establishes best practices, leads performance improvement initiatives, and ensures optimal resource utilization to meet organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in patient care delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical leadership, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at hire)
  • Knowledge of Patient Safety & Quality Standards
  • Knowledge of Nursing Principles & Evidence-Based Practice
  • Knowledge of Emergency Preparedness & Change Management
