Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cath Lab, you will be a vital member of a high-performing team, delivering critical and compassionate care to patients undergoing life-saving cardiovascular procedures. You'll leverage your expertise daily to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care, excelling in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where every action directly impacts patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve optimal health outcomes for Cath Lab patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
  • Proficiently assess patient conditions, recognize and adapt to changes (e.g., lab, vitals, test values), and perform timely, clinically appropriate interventions
  • Skillfully organize and prioritize complex patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery while maintaining patient comfort and safety
  • Clear communicate with physicians and other providers, and ensure a seamless nurse-to-nurse handoff at the bedside
  • Serve as a dedicated advocate for patient needs, demonstrating holistic care practices and upholding high ethical standards in all aspects of practice

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Nursing license in good standing valid to work in Arizona
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS)
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support card (AHA ACLS) within 90 days of hire

Nice to have:

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
  • One year recent acute care experience
