Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care or caring for chronically ill patients of any age
Staff development, education, or training experience preferred
Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, web-based systems)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with sound judgment and professionalism
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Responsibility

Proctor computerized, knowledge-based examinations
Objectively observe and score candidates demonstrating clinical skills
Evaluate candidate performance during practical skills assessments
Prepare testing sites by reviewing rosters and ensuring proper setup and breakdown
Verify candidate identification and manage candidate flow throughout testing events
Monitor candidates during written examinations or oversee delegated proctors as needed
Maintain test integrity and security at all times
Observe, assess, and document candidate performance during skills exams
Address candidate concerns or escalate issues to appropriate leadership
Protect confidential exam content and testing materials
