Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Associate and Mid-Level, Numerical Control Programmers in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience
  • Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility
  • Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work
  • Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment
  • Works under general direction

Requirements:

  • 1 or more years NC programming experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
  • 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate Level)
  • CATIA V5 NC Programming
  • Experience related to: multi-axis high speed machining of aluminum & titanium aircraft components, Machine Control Data (MCD) and new machining process development
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid-Level)
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
