Job Responsibility

  • Provide full lifecycle leadership for nuclear service projects, from proposal development through contract award, execution, delivery, and project closeout
  • Lead the development of technically sound, compliant, and commercially competitive nuclear service solutions
  • Serve as the senior technical and project liaison for customers during pre‑order and execution phases
  • Lead multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance
  • Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, milestone billing, cash flow, change management, and risk mitigation
  • Provide strong people leadership by mentoring project teams, fostering accountability, driving engagement
  • Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of ethics, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead contract change management, ensuring scope changes are formally approved, accurately costed, and executed
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and best‑practice sharing

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience managing industrial automation projects, including at least 2–3 projects valued at $1M+
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional project teams of 5–20+ contributors
  • At least 3 years operating in a formal project leadership role
  • Hands‑on working knowledge of automation systems, including robots, PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, pneumatics, and machine controls
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, automation, or process‑driven environments
  • Track record of successfully managing customer‑facing projects under aggressive timelines
  • Proficiency with project and engineering documentation tools, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software
  • Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environment compliance
  • Hold team members accountable for health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Ensure that the requirements of the health, safety and environment management system are implemented and maintained
  • Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits as required
  • Implement appropriate corrective measures for unsafe conditions and unsafe acts
  • Ensure that appropriate equipment, materials and protective devices are provided and maintained in safe condition
  • Attend HSE Due Diligence for Management training sessions

  • All scope managed by the TPM 4 is being performed within DOE Hazard Category 2, Security Classification 1 facility. Therefore, prior nuclear experience is required.
