  • Develop data-driven, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for critical plant assets, ensuring optimal equipment health and performance
  • Utilize the APM tool to optimize asset strategies across each MPL, balancing total system risk against constraints such as labor hours and budgetary limits
  • Champion the continuous improvement of maintenance strategies by incorporating operational feedback, performance trends, and industry best practices
  • Work closely with design engineering, systems engineering, and operations teams to ensure maintenance strategies are robust, practical, and effectively implemented

Requirements

  • Experience in a Commercial Nuclear Power Plant related to: Maintenance
  • Operations
  • PRA / PSA (Probabilistic Risk Assessment / Probabilistic Safety Assessment)
  • Programs Engineering (e.g., ISI/IST, AOV/MOV, Buried Pipe)
  • Design Engineering
  • System Engineering
  • Reliability & RCM: Deep understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and application
  • Maintenance Approaches: Experience with preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) methodologies
  • FMEA: Proven ability to lead or perform Failure Modes and Effects Analyses
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Asset Performance Management (APM) or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Condition Monitoring: Familiarity with various condition monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis)
  • Asset Management: Knowledge of lifecycle and aging management programs for plant equipment
  • Planning: Understanding of outage and work planning processes
  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry data and standards, such as the EPRI PM Basis Database (PMBD)
  • Trending: Experience with equipment performance trending and analysis
  • Risk Assessment: Strong capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment
  • Root Cause Analysis: Demonstrated experience in performing formal root cause analyses (RCA)
  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret complex engineering data to derive actionable insights
  • Problem Solving: A systematic and effective approach to solving complex technical challenges
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: A proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and precise in all aspects of work, from data entry to final analysis
