Nuclear Med Technologist II

• Demonstrates mastery of all Nuc Med Tech I Accountabilities/Responsibilities and has completed a minimum of 1 year service in the Nuc Med Tech I position
• Performs in‐vitro/in‐vivo studies as outlined in the nuclear medicine procedure manuals
• Makes determinations of the validity of the data collected before submission for interpretation
• Mentors new employees and students on the proper use of the camera/computer systems, study procedures
• Appropriately and professionally reacts to process or procedure deviations
• Assists with the formal clinical/technical education process of the department by preparing and presenting 2 staff in‐services per year on a topical subject
• Independently performs all Functions regarding the safe and compliant operation of the radiopharmacy and all associated documentation
• Educates and mentors qualified staff on proper radio, pharmacy procedures

• Three (3) years Nuclear Medicine experience
• Medical Radiographer: TX (MRT)
• One of the following: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology (RTNM)
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days of hire
