You will lead a specialist NSW team to deliver on regional business plans, new business targets, and client retention. This role requires a hands-on leader to manage the end to end regional operations, including on-farm coaching, performance management, and the execution of sales campaigns.
Job Responsibility:
Recruit, coach, and motivate Farm Insurance Specialists and BDMs to drive a high-performance culture
Oversee all regional sales activities to meet current and future growth targets
Maintain key account relationships and foster long-term partnerships with alliance partners
Ensure regional adherence to all underwriting, audit, and regulatory policies
Gather and share market intelligence with the Commercial Leadership and Underwriting teams
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of Agricultural insurance is preferred
however, extensive experience in General Insurance and the insurance regulatory environment is accepted
Proven track record in leading sales teams within the rural or insurance sectors
Advanced business development, complex account management, and the ability to provide direct on-farm coaching
Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Finance and RG146 compliance
minimum 5-6 years of Sales & leadership exp in the farm insurance sector
