Job Description:

You will lead a specialist NSW team to deliver on regional business plans, new business targets, and client retention. This role requires a hands-on leader to manage the end to end regional operations, including on-farm coaching, performance management, and the execution of sales campaigns.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leadership: Recruit, coach, and motivate Farm Insurance Specialists and BDMs to drive a high-performance culture
  • Sales & Retention: Oversee all regional sales activities to meet current and future growth targets
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain key account relationships and foster long-term partnerships with alliance partners
  • Compliance: Ensure regional adherence to all underwriting, audit, and regulatory policies
  • Insights: Gather and share market intelligence with the Commercial Leadership and Underwriting teams

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of Agricultural insurance is preferred
  • however, extensive experience in General Insurance and the insurance regulatory environment is accepted
  • Proven track record in leading sales teams within the rural or insurance sectors
  • Advanced business development, complex account management, and the ability to provide direct on-farm coaching
  • Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Finance and RG146 compliance
