Job Description

We are looking for a NQ Care Solicitor in London. NLS is a well-established law firm looking to grow our teams in the future, we have a strong commitment to providing high-quality legal aid services to vulnerable clients. Our Care Solicitors are dedicated to supporting individuals though some of the most challenging periods of their lives, delivering expert legal advice with professionalism, empathy and integrity. We are now looking at growing our team and we are looking for a Care Solicitor who is used to working on parent cases and working towards fee earner targets.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain a personal caseload of Care including: Drafting case notes, witness statements, client care letters
  • Experience of processing Legal Aid application forms and knowledge of the CCMS portal
  • Advocacy experience is essential
  • Conduct files reviews and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed
  • Maintain excellent client care standards and professional conduct

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
  • Strong advocacy, case management and client care skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Legal Aid Agency procedures and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload
