The intern will play a key support role, working closely with various departments including Research & Development, Engineering, Quality, and Production, within an innovative and fast-paced environment that fosters professional growth.
Job Responsibility:
Support and collaborate on procurement activities for new projects, from concept to mass production, identifying and implementing opportunities for streamlined processes and greater efficiency
Assist R&D and Engineering teams in defining specifications for components and materials, always considering cost-effectiveness and process optimization
Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and selection of new suppliers, ensuring alignment with technical, quality, and cost requirements, with a particular emphasis on long-term efficiency gains
Participate in cost analysis for new components and materials, actively seeking and proposing opportunities for cost reduction, process simplification, and overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization
Acquire and apply comprehensive knowledge of production and technological processes related to new products to inform strategic purchasing decisions and contribute to process re-engineering efforts
Act as a key interface and support between the Procurement team and other involved departments (R&D, Engineering, Quality, Production) to foster collaborative approaches to process improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or a related field
Strong interest in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, particularly within NPI
Proactive, curious, and with a strong aptitude for identifying and proposing solutions for continuous improvement and efficiency
Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken (Italian and English)
