NPD/EPD beauty/skincare specialists who are looking for a FTC/interim position in 2026, this role is for you! We are working with a leading UK beauty brand, producing innovative & market-leading products, who are currently looking for a Product Manager to join their team and cover a maternity leave.

Job Responsibility

  • Organisation & Project Management: Ensure all developments align with the product calendar & review supplier CPAs & build project timelines within Asana (PM tool)
  • Collaboration & Management: Work with the wider NPD team to manage & support the PD Exec & PD Assistant
  • drive NPD, swag & exclusives aligned to commercial strategies
  • Delivery: Focus on EPD (extended product development) initiatives
  • lead & deliver clear briefs to the team
  • Risk Analysis: Identify risks within products & the business to ensure high quality standards are maintained and adhere to quality procedures
  • Testing & Market Analysis: Oversee testing plans to ensure the product is inclusive & resonates with our community
  • Reporting: Presenting status updates, concepts & feedback to Board/SLT & external leading retailers
  • Financials: Allocate target costs, review supplier quotes & negotiate costs to hit target margins
  • Representation: Attend global trade fairs, factories & uphold strong supplier relationships

Requirements

  • Clear experience working end-to-end across Product Development within beauty and/or skincare (coverage inc. but not limited to: shade extensions, sampling, collections, accessories, PR, & product reformulations)
  • Strong project management & organisational skills
  • proficient in digital tools (e.g: Asana) & a detail-oriented approach to tracking timelines & supplier CPAs
  • Proven experience in costing, supplier negotiation, & margin management to achieve business targets
  • Excellent communication across teams (commercial/sales/marketing)
  • able to brief clearly, align teams, & present confidently to Board/SLT & external partners
  • In-depth understanding of product quality standards, testing processes, & risk management
  • A true love for NPD innovation informed by consumer insights, brand vision, & market trends
  • Leading & mentoring team members, fostering accountability, creativity, & operational excellence
