Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
  • Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
  • See new OB patients
  • Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA
  • 3+ years preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
  • California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
  • Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
  • Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
  • Current BLS
  • NPI and DEA

Nice to have

  • Board certification in Women’s Health
  • 3+ years of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA
  • Experience with Epic EMR system
