As North America PC&L Controller on our team, you will: serves as the financial steward of PC&L operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting PC&L-related costs, ensuring financial accuracy and driving cost and cash improvement. The PC&L Controller partners with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to drive cost control, improve forecasting, and support strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Financial Oversight of Logistics Operations: Track and analyze logistics costs including freight, warehousing, sequencing, customs, packaging, excess and obsolescence, and inventories levels.
Analyze Actuals vs. Budget and Forecast and investigate variances and prepare actionable explanation for senior management to take necessary actions.
Support month-end close activities related to logistics and inventory accounting.
Cost Optimization & Forecasting: Identify cost-saving opportunities across transportation, storage, and distribution.
Develop and maintain logistics cost forecasts and support annual budgeting processes.
Support the PC&L teams in the recovery of costs from suppliers and customers.
Collaborate with procurement and operations to evaluate supplier contracts and logistics spend.
Define the relevant PC&L financial KPIs
Business case modelling and ad-hoc analysis
Inventory & Asset Control: Ensure accurate valuation of inventory and alignment with financial reporting standards.
Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits from a financial perspective.
Reconcile inventory movements and adjustments across ERP systems.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, including the review and validation of month-end entries
Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
Support internal and external audits related to logistics and inventory.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, plants and FP&A finance teams to align logistics strategies with business goals.
Provide financial insights to support logistics-related decisions and capital investments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in FinanceSupply Chain Management. Master would be a plus.
5+ years of experience in finance or logistics roles within a manufacturing environment.
Efficient written and oral communication.
Outstanding analytical skills
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and logistics operations.
Bilingual English and Spanish
Proficiency in SAP (SAP,) and financial reporting tools.
Advanced Excel skills.
English spoken/writing Med-High level. Advanced
Knowledge in safety standards.
Knowledge and experience following procedures.
