We’re continuing to grow our business and are looking for a Non Working Foreperson to join our Planned Works team in Hampshire to support the operational delivery of our essential upgrading works to client properties, ensuring the work is conducted safely, professionally and to the required standards, always. You’ll be overseeing work on our Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment contracts, covering areas across Hampshire and into Oxfordshire. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll act as a link between the office and our sites.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting in the day to day running of all planned work streams
Assisting the Contracts Manager in the supervision of up to 16 operatives
Health and Safety reporting
Completing on site welfare checks including monitoring safe ways of working, PPE, tool/equipment inspections
Delivery of regular toolbox talks
Assist the Contracts Manager with Pre work inspections, set-ups and post inspections of work completed
Requirements:
Qualified to an NVQ level 2 or similar, in a core trade
A focus on Health & Safety
Good knowledge of basic IT skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional attitude towards work, and the ability to lead and get the best out of your team
You will be taking responsibility and handling the day-to-day operational queries and decisions
The possession of a full current UK Driving Licence
Nice to have:
SSSTS would be beneficial
Planned maintenance experience from social housing would be an advantage
