As a Non-Sterile Compounding Technician at Strive Pharmacy, you'll be at the core of preparing and compounding custom prescriptions, both hazardous and non-hazardous, upholding the highest standards of quality control and compliance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Responsibility

  • Mix custom medications, like liquids, creams, pills, and more, to help people in need
  • Maintain and document scales and meters for precise measurements
  • Ensure quality control and hand off compounds to the pharmacist for final approval
  • Manage chemical inventory and keep it fresh
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Work with your team to tackle challenges and follow schedules
  • Participate in audits and inspections to meet industry standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A clean criminal record
  • PTCB Certification
  • Active Technician License (Technician Trainee License not accepted)
  • Willingness to wear required protective gear
  • Previous pharmacy experience
  • At least one year of non sterile compounding experience
  • Knowledge of USP 795, USP 800, USP 795, and cGMP FDA 503A Guidelines
  • Ability to work in both hazardous and non-hazardous labs
