Job Description

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Singapore as Non-Linear Trader Assistant. The Non Linear Trading team responsible for Emerging Markets & Cross Asset Non-Linear Trading for Asia and market risk management for Crédit Agricole CIB within the authorised trading limits and delegated trader mandate, i.e. the risk parameters and designated currency and product limits. Non Linear Traders are also responsible for liaising with the Crédit Agricole CIB Sales Network, to provide the whole customer base with a superior service and expertise for distributing, pricing, and risk management solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Financial performance of the trading books within the business line, in terms of the generation of revenues, utilisation of capital and balance sheet and overall performance targets (excluding allocated costs and management overhead)
  • Product development in all areas of responsibility, especially on local currencies and on shore off shore activities
  • Manage Global Markets Trading business within the delegated risk parameters
  • Ensure compliance of the business line with all regulatory and other policies, procedures and guidelines
  • When in the context of global book ensure smooth coordination with appropriate trading desks to ensure pricing consistency and appropriate local execution and hedging

Requirements

  • Master Degree from an University, a Business School or an Engineering School with a specialization in Mathematical / Scientific area, Financial Market, Cash & Derivatives, Options & Exotics, Coding
  • Knowledge of the Banking functions
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Coding in Python and VBA
  • Fluent French & English
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with other Senior Managers, Sales, Structurers and Quants
  • Ability to think quickly, make decisions using good judgement and prioritise in busy trading situations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in financial products related trading/ risk management activities

  • Analysing and hedging the risk of the Equities XVA book, daily monitoring of Risk and P&L
  • Understanding the existing RWA themes of the division, be able to relate Basel Regulatory principles to trades and evaluate capital efficiency of transactions
  • Creating, optimizing and managing Desk tools (for Risk and P&L) and other analytics assisting in smart decision making, reporting and communication
  • Engage with Tech and Quant teams to problem solve, evolve the platform and capabilities
  • Collaborating with internal partners and industry forums to improve Stress Testing Capabilities, as well as optimising the RWA footprint of CVA (CVA RWA under FRTB)
  • Working with the Quant and Risk Technology Risk Delivery teams to ensure appropriate risk capture for above mentioned models and also improving the core capabilities in the light of increasing calculation demands
  • Regular dialogue with internal trading desks, structuring and sales
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
