Job Responsibility

  • Work predominantly in pricing
  • Opportunities to also work on Reserving, and/or Risk and Capital projects across the London/Lloyd’s market and/or the Personal & Commercial lines market
  • Provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, business planning, new legislation, and the efficiency and reliability of reporting processes
  • Take an active role in supporting the strategic management and running of the practice

Requirements

  • Qualified non-life actuary
  • Good understanding of a broad range of commonly used pricing techniques
  • Good working knowledge of one or more of: London Market direct pricing, reinsurance pricing, and personal lines pricing (both street pricing and technical pricing)

Nice to have

Experience with niche pricing areas, such as trade credit insurance pricing, cyber pricing models or catastrophe modelling
