Job Description:

Full-Time Opportunity to join a well-established program at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care. The physician will practice in a collaborative community-based environment in Pembroke Pines, Florida, while maintaining access to the tertiary resources of Baptist Health South Florida. The team includes more than 35 Advanced Practice Providers and the support of other non-clinical staff. BHSF is academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and engages in multi-disciplinary research, including 60+ clinical trials offering access to emerging therapies in cardiovascular care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care
  • non-invasive cardiac procedures
  • preventive medicine and pharmacology

Requirements:

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship
