Job Responsibility

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on aeronautical parts and components, applying Penetrant Testing (PT), Eddy Current Testing (ECT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) methods
  • Properly prepare materials and operate testing equipment and machines
  • Read and interpret all applicable technical documentation, technical drawings, and standards relevant to the inspection process
  • Ensure the control, recording, and updating of tests performed, maintaining traceability and documentation in accordance with applicable standards
  • Control applicable products (controlled items) and ensure strict compliance with all technical, quality, regulatory, and occupational health and safety standards
  • Prepare inspection reports, recording test results and discontinuities identified in parts

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Non-Destructive Testing, preferably in the aeronautical sector or in industries with high quality and standardization requirements
  • Preferably, Level 2 Qualification in the following methods: Penetrant Testing and/or Eddy Current Testing and/or Magnetic Particle Testing
  • English level B1 (Intermediate) is desirable for reading and interpreting manuals and technical documentation
  • Solid knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing, its applications, and limitations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with compliance with technical and regulatory standards (quality, environment, and safety)
  • Concentrated attention, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills for evaluating discontinuities
