Job Description:

As a Non-CDL Van Driver at Zūm, you will safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities while ensuring a positive and secure environment. This is a safety-sensitive position because you are responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students, and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. Job Responsibility:

  • Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
  • Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
  • Manage student behavior and maintain a positive environment in the vehicle
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Additional certifications required by state for legal non-cdl van operation
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience
  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test
  • Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
