Job Description

Job Title: Nokia IP SME. Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite). Job Type: Fulltime FTE.

Requirements

  • SME to assist with Nokia Platforms
  • SME must be proficient with Nokias IP Platforms
  • Nokias 7750, 7210 and 7250 platform and their successors
  • SME shall work on the as built configurations associated with the platforms
  • 8 years of experience
  • SME shall work during Business Days (onsite)
  • Knowledge transfer of the as-built solution
  • Hardware software support, operating system upgrades (excluding production)
  • Assist in deployment of new network elements and feature validation in the VFlab
  • Life cycle management, bug scrubs
  • New hardware software selection as-built solutions
  • Best practices based on lesson learned from other customers
  • SME shall comply with security requirements while on customer premises
  • Provide weekly report outlining the engagements that were undertaken
  • Attend team calls and meetings
  • As it pertains to Suppliers Platforms
  • Act as a point of contact with the Technical Assistant Center (TAC) team to resolve related lab and field issues, perform trouble ticket entry (if needed) and trouble ticket updates as required, perform any required log entries, and answer any related technical questions
  • Assist with lab validation of Supplier software releases
  • Assist with lab testing (set up, evaluation, and documentation)
  • Assist with throughput and utilization measurement, monitoring, and documents
  • Provide knowledge transfer sessions of the as built deployment
