Job Description

NOI Engineer responsible for overall management and success of the new product and new offers in the lab with the ability to transition and support new products and new processes to manufacturing. This role is accountable for successfully launching the new product and offers per the project objective, baseline scope, and schedule following the cooperate and site's project management guideline.

Job Responsibility

  • New product and new offers introduction: Responsible to implement new product, new customer and new offers in timely manner to support EssilorLuxottica growth strategy
  • Lead the development and implementation of New product/Offer coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities to meet customer required schedule
  • In relation with regional and local team to put in place the right setup process for new product and new offers launch
  • Collect information for technical analysis to support project GO/ NO GO by working closely with Global engineering, quality and local process, quality team
  • Define the right documentation and training material for any new products by working closely with process, quality engineer
  • Manage compliance team to have CFS, import license, and Form A/D/ANZ to support new business (if require)
  • Ensures open communication across project teams
  • Promotes knowledge of team’s work to gain support for ongoing and future initiative
  • Addresses delicate situations and handles conflicts in such a way maximize opportunity and minimize exposure to risk
  • Reporting: Prepare and share new product and new offer monthly report status
  • Prepare and share knowledge of new product to ensure information are well cascade to all related level
  • Comply with law regulation and ISO management system related to company (ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001), manage the related audit or participate to them if appropriated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related filed
  • At least 3 years of experience in new product and/or engineering function
  • Good knowledge of English (Speaking, Reading, Writing)
  • Good statistics, analysis and methods skills, Statistical Process Control, Financial Analysis and Proficient in MS Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Able to work under pressure and flexible to adapt
  • Experience with multi-national companies
  • Knowledge of project management

  • Conduct independent quality inspections and surveillance of civil and structural works in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and construction programmes
  • Provide proactive routine site surveillance during active construction to identify quality issues early, ensuring compliance with project standards and preventing costly rework
  • Perform reactive inspections in response to contractor Notifications of Inspection (NOI) / Requests for Inspection (RFIs)
  • Verify that works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
  • Participate in pre-construction inspections to confirm readiness of works, including verification of materials, equipment, permits, and approved documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable UK standards and project requirements including BS EN standards, Design Codes, CDM Regulations, and relevant industry guidance
  • Verify correct implementation of testing regimes including compaction testing, concrete testing, slump tests, concrete cube testing, pile integrity testing, and structural inspections
  • Accurately record inspection results, surveillance findings, and test outcomes in project quality records
