Northeast Florida’s most preferred health system - located in one of the nation’s most sought after destinations - is seeking a FULL TIME NOCTURNIST NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT to join our top-ranked and rapidly-growing inpatient team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cover admissions, rapid response and floor call
  • Work with Hospitalist team
  • Lead a new program in advancing the way Advanced Practice Providers are utilized within hospital campuses

Requirements:

  • Master of Science
  • Certified ARNP or PA
  • Licensed ARNP or PA
  • One year of Inpatient or Hospitalist experience required
  • Over 5 years Nurse Practitioner Experience Required
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner Required
  • Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Required

  • Collaborates with members of the multidisciplinary team including, but not limited to: physicians, nurses, medical assistants, social workers, pharmacists, dieticians
  • Performs chest tube removals, pacer wire removals and pediatric ICU procedures including chest tube insertion, central and arterial line access and intubations
  • Attends, participates, and contributes to group/practice meetings, quality improvement, and policy and procedure development efforts when requested
