We are looking for a skilled NOC Technician to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in network operations and technical troubleshooting. The role involves supporting critical systems, ensuring seamless functionality, and managing network-related tasks with precision and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor and maintain network operations to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Norton Utilities on Windows systems
  • Support wireless application protocols (WAP) to ensure smooth connectivity and functionality
  • Manage wireless personal area network (WPAN) configurations and troubleshoot related issues
  • Assemble and test cable systems to guarantee quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with team members to implement effective solutions for network challenges
  • Document and report network performance metrics and incidents accurately
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams as needed
  • Ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures for network operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network operations, particularly in a NOC environment
  • Strong knowledge of Norton Utilities for Windows systems
  • Familiarity with wireless application protocols (WAP) and related technologies
  • Expertise in managing and troubleshooting wireless personal area networks (WPAN)
  • Hands-on experience with cable assemblies and testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders
