Job Description

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of 6 NOC Support Specialists for initial 12 month contracts onsite in Ford Island, HI (Pearl Harbor). The NOC Support Specialists will be supporting an enterprise global operations center for a DOD customer. The NOC Support Specialists will be responsible or the configuration and analysis of customer circuits across optical, electro-optical multiplexers, routers and switches, monitor network availability and network alarms, hardware replacements, ticket support, etc.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience and a bachelors degree
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Ability to support a 24×7 work environment
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience of both Transport and IP Network topologies
  • Must have a Security + CE or equivalent prior to starting
  • Tech control and / or cyber transport experience
  • Solarwinds and / or JIRA experience
  • Telco NOC, inside or outside plant experience
  • Experience assessing, identifying and recommending solutions to various network incidents around one of more of the following
  • Cisco Routers / Switches, crypto devices, Juniper Route / Switch, MSPP, Optical Transport, MPLS, Multiplexing and / or SDH / SONET
