Ten10 is seeking an experienced NOC Service Design Specialist to support a critical government client. You will be responsible for designing effective IT services within the DTaS Command Centre, ensuring alignment with the ITIL framework. This role is vital for ensuring that new or changed services are transitioned into live operation with quality and consistency throughout the lifecycle.
Job Responsibility
Service Design & Strategy: Develop and maintain service design policies, processes, and procedures in line with ITIL best practices
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the Huxley programme to provide input for the NOC Business Case and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs
Operational Definition: Define role requirements for 2nd/3rd line support and the scope of 4th line 'on-call' responsibilities
Infrastructure & Tooling: Identify gaps in existing monitoring tools and propose solutions based on supplier capabilities
Transition & Integration: Produce Service Design Packages (SDPs) and coordinate with the wider DTaSCC to ensure clear handoffs for network incidents and warnings
Management: Provide day-to-day task management for first-line NOC resources
Requirements
ITIL Expertise: In-depth understanding of ITIL Service Design principles and a mandatory ITIL Foundation Certification
Service Management: Proven experience in ITSM, specifically within service design and transition
Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risks and ensure services are scalable and secure
Communication: Excellent documentation skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Clearance: You must hold current SC Clearance
DV clearance is highly preferred

ITIL Intermediate or Practitioner certification in Service Design
Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
