Job Description:

The NOC Engineer will monitor IT infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure continuous uptime. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, adherence to ITIL processes, and teamwork in a fast-paced offshore environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor networks and servers using SolarWinds, Splunk, and Zabbix
  • Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 issues (e.g., latency, downtime, connectivity)
  • Escalate critical incidents promptly to higher support tiers
  • Document tickets in ServiceNow/JIRA
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base for recurring issues

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in NOC or technical support
  • Hands-on knowledge of routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper)
  • Strong skills in Windows and Linux administration
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python preferred)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation
