About the Role As our NIS2 / Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting compliance with the EU’s NIS2 Directive and strengthening enterprise governance frameworks. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, security teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure robust, future-proof cybersecurity and risk management practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and support NIS2 gap assessments and compliance roadmaps
  • Align governance frameworks with ISO 27001, risk management, and internal control standards
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and control documentation
  • Conduct risk assessments and third-party risk evaluations
  • Support incident response governance and regulatory reporting obligations
  • Provide advisory support to executive leadership and boards
  • Monitor evolving EU cybersecurity legislation and regulatory developments

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of the NIS2 Directive and EU regulatory environment
  • Experience with governance frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST CSF, etc.)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with public sector or EU institutions is a plus
  • Fluency in English (French or Dutch is an asset)
