Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Nightshift Operations Executive to join their logistics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong AOG/NFO and express logistics knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer service and customs compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to express clients during night operations
  • Manage the shared operational inbox and ensure timely responses to all enquiries
  • Resolve operational issues and customer concerns efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales invoicing and job costing
  • Process import/export documentation and submit customs entry declarations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, services, and internal processes
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Document client-specific business processes and requirements
  • Conduct self-audits to ensure compliance with HMRC export/import regulations
  • Monitor and manage inbox activity to ensure prompt and accurate communication

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of AOG/NFO and express logistics operations
  • Professional approach to high-pressure situations
  • Solid understanding of HMRC customs procedures, including import/export entry submissions
  • Proficient in Excel, CRM systems, BoxTop, and CDS
