Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Nightshift Customer Service Colleague to join our team at Asda Express Polkemmet. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working independently, enjoys staying busy, and takes pride in leaving the store fully prepared for a successful trading day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring the store is ready for trading the next morning
  • Cleaning the store to a high standard
  • Replenishing and stocking shelves
  • Date checking fresh produce with careful attention to detail
  • Completing correct date rotation to ensure oldest stock is sold first
  • Carrying out reductions to help minimise fresh waste the following day
  • Cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine
  • Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Picking and preparing Just Eat and Uber Eats orders
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Completing any additional tasks delegated by management

Requirements:

  • Someone dependable with excellent timekeeping
  • Ability to work confidently and independently
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when date checking and rotating stock
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of the shift
  • Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on role
