Job Description:

As a Nights/Weekends Flex Schedule Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you’ll share our vision for improving access to quality mental health care while working in a culture grounded in authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. Ellie was founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health and breaking down barriers that often prevent people from receiving care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full-time clinicians schedule 30 sessions per week and execute at least 25 (part-time considered case-by-case)
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation (annual updates, treatment reviews, progress notes)
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients
  • Collaborate with team members to improve access to care in our community
  • Use creative interventions to support client goals
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, and other professionals as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and team activities

Requirements:

  • Active clinical license in Idaho (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW preferred)
  • Prompt and effective communicator
  • Strong professional boundaries
  • Timely documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant experience a plus)
  • Comfort with electronic intakes, portals, and automated processes
  • Comfortable discussing billing and collecting client financial responsibility
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Willingness to sign a non-compete and provide therapy services exclusively through Ellie during employment
